The C-IF500 Interface Unit is a splitter used for controlling 32 or more Combination cameras or for making a star-connection between the C-RM700 (option)(*1) Remote Controller and the cameras. The unit converts and splits RS-485 serial signals into 4-channel data for slave units and RS-232C data to be used for public line or fiber optics communications.(*2) The communication is bidirectional between master and slave terminals, and its communication speed can be set by the DIP switch. (*1) Note that this unit does not comply with CE requirements. (*2) The unit cannot be used in the system with the transmission/reception switching interval of 2 bytes or less or where transmission signals could be simultaneously sent out from multiple slave terminals.
